i just finished watching all three Anne of Green Gables movies with nona. they are a big thing here in canada since they are set on prince edwards island, which s just off of the coast of eastern canada. I think that my favorite movie was the third one because it had alot more history and action than the other two. it also made me cry, and a movie has to be pretty good to do that to me. right now i am watching a dr. phil episode about a girl who did not step out of her house for about two years because she thought that her face was so utterly hideous, but in reality she looks quite pretty. i don't understand how some people can spend hours in front of the mirror every morning, but maybe that's because since i live overseas for the majority of the time, i'm not really influinced by the looks obsessed culture that people in first world countries have to deal with. i mean, yes, looks are still pretty important at TISA, but people aren't about to go and beat you up becasue you don't look the same as them. i mean, i've heard stories of people in my old school in america, about kids who would pummel their classmates if they were overwieght or had a funny accent. if people at TISA beat people up because of how they spoke, then 75% of the people in the school would be going around with black eyes. i actually like listening to people with accents talk, because it makes me focus more on what they say for some reason. i myself have a somewhat canadian accent, even though i'm technically american, because my dad's side of the family is canadian. however, i think that some of my top favorite accents are english, scottish, irish, aulstralian, and south african. yours? do any of u guys have accents? please comment if you do...
