ok, the only reason that i'm really writing this post is because i am pretty bored right now and have nothing else to do right now. if you were wondering (which i highly doubt you were) i am actually in calgary, canada right now. i flew here about days ago to visit with my nona (grandma on my dad's side) and the rest of my dad's family. i leave back to baku in around 5 days. while i am here, i have been staying w/my nona and her foster baby Kairi, who isabout 7 months old, and is really sweet. i've had such a great time here so far, and have done A TON of shopping, since shopping is basically non-existant in baku. today i met up with one of my friends from TISA who moved here to calgary last summer, Kate. She and i went to an amusement park here called calaway park, and had a blast. She and r both lovers of scary rides and such, so we went on almost every single ride there. however, we had to go home early, because nona wasn't feeling vey well, and needed to rest and relax. so now i'm at home looking after Kairi and watching some real life medical drama on tv. And writinf this post of course. I am looking forward to going back to baku, because although my time here so far has been absolutley heavenly, i do miss my family and even the city, despite how little i want to admit it! But this trip has been good preperation for my going to boarding school in india later this summer. I've learned how to fill out my immigration card, and when to present my tickets, recipts, and boarding passes, and who to give them to. Byb, i'm going to boarding school for 4 years in Mussorie, India for about fur years. And no...it is NOT a school for deliquients and/or troubled teens as so many people seem to think that all boarding schools are. No, this is a simple Christian based co-ed school where uniforms are not required, which is a definate plus, and which gives me yet another excuse to go shopping :) I'm leaving with my family for India at the end of july, and after they drop me off at boarding school (Woodstock School in India), they will go on touring India and then they will return back to baku for another year until they are assignd to their next post.
